History

History

Sednon reimagines pocket objects, elevating them to the status of jewelry.
Inspired by the free spirit of the 1970s and by an older tradition of pocket luxury, the House creates precious cases for what is not meant to be displayed: the intimate, the secret, the obsession.

La Verneuil Case pays tribute to Serge Gainsbourg, his liberated spirit, his defiance of convention, and his unapologetic relationship with addiction. Its design echoes the tiled motif of his iconic home at 5 bis rue de Verneuil, in Paris.

The name Sednon references Sed Non Satiata, a poem by Charles Baudelaire. A celebration of unfulfilled desire and the perpetual pursuit of freedom.
